Chicken Korma
What is it about attraction? Physical? Intellectual? I don't buy it when people say that looks don't matter when it comes to choosing a mate. You got to like what you see right? It's not lust, it's just a natural occurance.
We had a counselling session today. Really the first from a commercial unit. And know what? And today was only an introduction and information gathering session. I did manage to learn some things about Su & myself. The systematic process really puts DA's methods to shame. Or we didn't give them enough time to prove themselves? Nah... don't think so. It's always them listening and well... dishing out the same recipe of patience and acceptance. Well... It's my life and I don't have to accept anything that I do not want to. Plain and simple. And well, not everything can be cramped into an hour or less. That's they time DA usually give. Fucked if you ask me. If there's not enough people there to help counsell, present it to whoever it is who increases manpower. Use stats. Facts and figures. Not just words. Not for me to teach. They're smarter than me anyway.
Anyway, fuck them. Fuck them all.
Let's continue... Why did Su choose me (well.. she didn't really have a choice... I am as pushy as they get)? Well... here's an extract of what she wrote to me:
What do I possibly see in Su? Well... there are a few attributes. Her ability to remain child-like though she's been through so much in her life and with her work experiences. Her simple ways and methods of explaination. Her frugality (not on coffee though.. has to be the best), simplicity in her needs. I love the way she dresses. Most times, she's in casual clothes. But there was once we went for a meeting and she was decked out in a power suit, sans the jacket. Pretty. Nice. A huge turn on!
Sincerity is an important virtue to me. Saying it is simple. A matter of words. Proving it can be a daunting task. Her willingness to compromise and be tolerant of my ways. By this I do not mean I am unreasonable, but the habits of a stranger can be a new concept to a person. It's managing the person's habits and character that sometimes can be thought-provoking. Let's face it, it's never easy to live with a person this close to you. Compromise is a virtue. Virtues are a previllege, not a right. Therefore, armed with this knowledge, one should not take one's partner for granted. Easier said that done.
But we're also totally opposite in many ways. I'm a neat freak. I'm a stickler for cleanliess. I cook, clean, wash up, etc better than most women I know (including my own mother). I hate to be invaded in the kitchen. I hate to be disturbed when I am cooking and I hate people messing up or misplacing my tools and materials. I adopt the "clean as you go" and "first in first out" system in my kitchen. If you want me to cook, don't bug me and let me do it in peace. There you have it.
In a way, I would say that in this relationship, we're both extremely lucky (I really hope so) that our tolerances for each other does not exceed our capacity to show support within this bond. for that, I am grateful.
More on this the next round... have not slept for 3 days straight. Had a 3 hour nap. Made things worse. Now my body's in a whirlpool... nite nite.. & Happy Dewali to All!!!

what attracted to me to you ?Those are very kind words from her. Of course there's more, but I'll keep it as that. I've not replied though. I'll let my entry be an honest assessment then.
your sincerity attracted me so strongly towards u.
your love towards the elderly, the young and animals.
most importantly, your genuine love for me. nobody
loves me the way that you do. i pray Allah to bless
you every night.. coz my love for u is never enough..
I m still thinking about what Praveen said about this
girl who dates men whom the parents oppose, just for
the challenge.
i could be like her but in a slightly different way.
U r my challenge.
u r very different from guys i know. you provoke me
intellectually, emotionally and physically that it
becomes distressing for me sometimes. but i know u
meant well. u want me to evolve.
moreover, i am so motivated to learn about u n me in
this relationship.
